COACHES/PLAYERS CLINIC

                 - On 2/8/14 we had our annual coaches and players clinic. IT WENT GREAT!

Thanks everyone who came out for the event. And thank you coaches who helped

                   run it.

NEED A LITTLE EXTRA HELP THIS SEASON?

               - LMBS is starting an all NEW program called "The Exchange"

               - If you need to borrow a bat, glove, cleats, bat bag, ETC. until you can get one, talk

to the Board members and you can "check one out"!

               - All you returning players: If you have any old, but still usable equipment, we could

                 sure use some donations.

OPENING CEREMONY:

                - Dont for get that March 8, 2014 is opening day. Get ready for the banner parade and

                  contest, and our amazing raffles.

                - The pancake breakfast starts at 8am, remember to sell those tickets.

FUNDRAISERS:

              - As a league, we WILL be doing fundraisers. As parents we need to remember that

fundraisers are necessary for a league to function. Fundraisers are needed to help

pay for equipment, lights, and the snack bar, and much more.

GIFT WRAP:

-A big thanks to everyone who came to our grift wrap booth over the holidays. We were

able to brng in a good amount of money for our general funds. And we got some more

sign ups! During gift wrap we partnered with the group Bike Night at the Starting Gate,

in collecting toys. On December 18th, the gate had its annual Dinner at the Gate, where

more than 65 local Foster Youth were treated to a spaghetti dinner and a visit from Santa.

Each child went home with multiple toys. La Mirada Bobby Sox was blessed to be part of

              of the event.
